- Eventide / Ascension is out on Lustwerk Music in January.
Studio OST, the collaborative project of White Material crew members Galcher Lustwerk and Alvin Aronson, will release a 12-inch called Eventide / Ascension in mid-January.
We first heard from Studio OST on March's Scenes 2012-2015 LP. RA's Andrew Ryce said that one had a natural feel to it, likening the full-length to "two friends having fun in the studio, making low-pressure, laidback jams." The new one, however, "shifts the focus back to the dance floor," according to the press release, anchored by two house tracks. The EP also includes a beatless version of the A-side, "Eventide," and a bonus beats-style take on the B, "Ascension." It's out on Lustwerk Music, and follows a self-titled album from Florida rapper Quavius.
