- Project 6 is due out through Acacia Records in December.
US house and techno producer K-HAND has announced the return of her much-loved Project series with the Project 6 EP.
Project 6 arrives 19 years on from 1997's Project 5—an EP with four sample-heavy house tracks that still get plenty of play in clubs today. Launching with 1 in 1995, the Project series went on to release five numbered instalments through K-HAND's own Acacia Records up until 1997, along with a handful of loosely affiliated EPs such as Project 69, The Next Project and Unreleased Project.
Project 6 comprises three tracks due out in December. Some will recognise the techno-leaning A-side, "Boiler Room Teaser," from K-HAND's Boiler Room set from late last year. "Live" and a re-edit of a disco tune sit on the flip.
Read our recent interview with K-HAND for more information on her unique sound. Listen to a snippet from "Live."
