  • Cry Baby Records will launch this November with an EP from Melbourne's Dan White. The label is a new endeavour by Adelaide artist Babicka, AKA Bradley Shawyer—one of the founders of South Australian imprints Untzz Twelve Inch and Big Doint—and friend Sean McGuiness. After moving to Melbourne in 2015, Shawyer opened a record store in the CBD with McGuiness called Cry Baby, which lends its name to the new label. (The store is currently slated to close indefinitely in December due to redevelopment in the area.) Eclectic Melbourne producer Dan White, AKA Rory McPike, will deliver his Now You Are Here EP, which ranges from jungle to downtempo across its three tracks, as the inaugural release. Future records will all feature new Australian music, with 12-inches from Cop Envy and Jack Doepel in the pipeline. Stream the Now You Are Here EP in full.
