- Sotofett will put out two versions of an unfinished Torske track, Høst, on Sex Tags Mania.
Norwegians Bjørn Torske and DJ Sotofett appear together on the new Sex Tags Mania release.
Torske, a Tromsø native, has had an indelible impact on producers like Lindstrøm, Todd Terje and Sotofett, with a catalog of odd dance music that goes back to the early '90s. He's appeared on Sex Tags several times before (twice in collaboration with the duo Crystal Bois, and once on his own with 2008's Kan Jeg Slippe? 12-inch). On the new one, he's handed over an unfinished track called "Høst" to the label's founder, Sotofett. The label calls the remixed version a "filthy banger." Sotofett's 2016 output includes the digital-then-vinyl EP Philip Sherburne, Your Word Should Be Worth More Than The Ignorance Of Pitchfork as well as an RA Recommended split with SVN.
