New Barcelona club Werk It opens with San Proper

- A new club is opening in Barcelona this weekend called Werk It. WIP Barcelona, one of the city's best-known events companies and promoters, is behind the venture. They've been running weekly Werk It parties at various locations since early 2012, booking house and techno acts like Chez Damier, Damian Lazarus and Seth Troxler. The new venue, which has been fitted with a Funktion-One soundsystem, opens on Friday, December 9th with sets from San Proper, Boris Werner and resident Timeleft. (The party will also launch Werk It's fifth season.) Looking further ahead at Werk It, WIP has confirmed slots for SAOIRSE (Dec 14th), Oskar Offermann (Dec 21st), Tijana T (TBC) and Interstellar Funk (TBC). Tickets are available here on RA.
