The four-day event will be based in Omiš, about one hour from Split.
A new festival called Labyrinth Open will launch in Croatia from July 8th through 11th next year.
Labyrinth Open is being overseen by Labyrinth Productions, which already runs Belgium's Extrema festival and Antwerp venue Labyrinth Club. Its home will be Omiš, a coastal spot about one hour from Split, with a programme that includes DJs and live acts plus a conference of seminars, speakers and workshops. The lineup will be announced in 2017. The founder of Labyrinth Open, Ugur Akkus, says: "It was always the plan [to start a festival in Croatia], but I waited for the right time and more importantly the perfect location."
