  • Pioneer DJ adds pitch play, key sync to dedicated Serato controller image
  • Pioneer DJ has updated its Serato controller. The DDJ-SZ2 is built specifically for use with the Serato DJ software and makes the most of recent updates to the program. Dedicated controls for new features like key shift, pitch play, key sync and Serato Flip, allow users to play their hot cues at different pitches, effectively turning a track into an instrument, and build custom edits on the fly. An oscillator can be assigned to a channel or the master and comes in modes like noise, drop, laser and siren, and can be modulated with a parameter control. Aluminium jog wheels are optimised for scratching and have illuminated cue point markers and countdown feedback for greater accuracy. A Magvel crossfader and dual USB ports are also included. The Pioneer DJ DDJ-SZ2 is available now for €2099.
