Korg Gadget will soon be available on Mac.
Previously available only on the iOS platform, Korg's Gadget series featured over 20 types of virtual synthesiser and drum machines that could be programmed, mixed and arranged in an onboard sequencer, allowing users to make music outside the studio. Now Korg are bringing the same devices to the Mac platform with additional features, including the ability to record audio and a 16-pad drum machine. Users will be able to move their work across iOS and OS X formats, meaning productions made on the go can be refined later in the studio. There is currently no information regarding price and availability, but the software will be on show at next week's NAMM music tech conference in Anaheim, California.
