- The Hot Chip member's next LP comes out in April.
Joe Goddard is putting out another solo album.
Electric Lines is the second LP from the Hot Chip member, after 2009's Harvest Festival. (He also DJs and produces alongside Raf Rundell as The 2 Bears, and is the co-founder of the Greco-Roman imprint.) The first taste of the album came with "Lose Your Love," and the LP announcement comes with a stream of a new single called "Music Is The Answer," which label Domino describes as a "left-of-centre pop track."
The album was named after the cables that connect to the modules in Goddard's Eurorack synthesizer, as well as "the invisible wires that run between all the different kinds of electronic music he loves," according to the press release.
