The trio will perform alongside different acts across each night of their seven-date residency in March.
The xx have announced the full lineup of support acts for their seven-date residency at London's Brixton Academy in March.
The residency, which will run from March 8th through 15th (excluding Sunday the 12th), has been billed as Night + Day Brixton, continuing the trio's globetrotting event series that launched in 2013. They'll be joined by more than 15 acts, with different lineups planned for each of the shows. Sampha and Joy Orbison will play on Wednesday the 8th, followed by Kelela, Ben UFO and Beatrice Dillon on the 9th. Floating Points will DJ on the 11th and perform live on the 15th, when he'll be joined by Gilles Peterson. For a full rundown of dates and lineups, head to The xx's artist page on RA.
A clutch of afterparties have also been confirmed for Night + Day Brixton, with Phonox, Corsica Studios, The Prince of Wales and Block 336 all onboard. Acts involved include Oscar nominee Mica Levi, Benji B and Mr. Tophat, who will DJ back-to-back with Robyn.
The xx will have a night off on Sunday, March 12th, though the band's beatsmith, Jamie xx, has just announced that he'll host a party during the day, with all proceeds going to local charities. Doors will run from 2 PM through 8 PM. No more acts have been announced so far.
