  • ENA has two records coming on Horo this month. Yu Asaeda's abstract mix of drum & bass, techno and ambient has made him one of Horo's definitive artists, and he's put out quite a few records and tapes for the Berlin label over the years. His only release since 2015 was the Soil record issued in collaboration with fashion brand JULIUS, but now he's returning to Horo with two new releases. These new ones follow 2015's experimental Divided cassette tape and 7-inch. The first, Divided: Body, which comes in 12-inch form, offers "four physical, caustic creations that show clearly just how far Yu’s style has developed in the past three years," according to the label. The 13-track Divided: Mind, which lands on CD and digital, is made up of "introspective slices of developed ambience." Listen to previews of both releases.
