  • Strategy released a new tape via Geographic North today. On The Infinity File, the prolific Portland producer wraps up a trilogy of releases exploring tape loops. This one follows 2008's Noise Tape Reggae and 2015's Noise Tape Self, a release RA's Angus Finlayson said is "executed with such delicacy that it's difficult not to love." The Infinity File was made using "only a variable-speed, four-track tape deck and Dickow's own hand-made effects boxes," according to the label. The titles, meanwhile, refer to vintage synths like the E-mu Emax and the Akai AX60. Stream the tape in full.
