  • Moogfest has announced names for the nighttime segment of its 2017 edition, taking place in Durham, North Carolina, from May 18th through 21st. Moog Music's four-day festival will return for its 11th year with a wide-reaching program that includes concerts, club nights, film screenings, hands-on workshops and talks. They've outlined many of the names for their nighttime events, which take place at a few different venues around downtown Durham. Highlights include 808 State, Animal Collective, Avalon Emerson, Derrick May, Flying Lotus, Function, Jessy Lanza, Jubilee, Lena Willikens, Mumdance, Not Waving, Pye Corner Audio, Silent Servant, Simian Mobile Disco, Suzanne Ciani and Container. Most of these artists are also participating in daytime sessions as well. Moogfest had already announced its 2017 daytime program, which includes a collaboration between The Haxan Cloak and Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Nick Zinner, as well as a workshop with the noise band Wolf Eyes.
