The next edition in Meandyou's series of limited edition cassettes features Ben UFO and Frak.
The tape, which is due out in late March, contains recordings of Ben UFO's DJ set and Frak's live show (their UK debut) at Meandyou's party at Manchester's Soup Kitchen in early 2013. "This cassette is part of the archival recordings from our club night that have taken place over the last decade in Manchester," says Meandyou's Alexander Taber. "The intention of materialising a selection of these audio recordings is to document a unique period of the city's musical history."
Meandyou is one of four UK promoters collaborating with Resident Advisor and Absolut on the Alternate Cuts party series. Their event is taking place at Soup Kitchen on Thursday, April 6th, with Derrick May playing an "influences" DJ set that'll take in everything from Japanese new wave to Ultravox.
Meandyou will release Frak & Ben UFO – Live At Soup Kitchen 25.01.2013 in late March 2017.
