  • Yussef Kamaal have been denied entry into US on their way to play SXSW. The group, made up of Henry Wu and Yussef Dayes, shared the news on Facebook today, saying that "certain members" had their ESTAs revoked and could not make it into the country. The Electronic System For Travel Authorization lets travelers to enter the US under the Visa Waiver Program, which allows people from participating countries, such as the UK, to enter without a visa. While the duo's statement makes no reference to Trump's recent executive order reinstating the travel ban on citizens of six Muslim-majority countries, they do add that "this is clearly a discrimination against race and religion." United Vibrations, another group that includes Yussef Dayes, were more direct, tweeting, "We will NOT be playing @sxsw. We got hit by the #ExecutiveOrder."
