  • Bass Coast has announced its first names for 2017. The festival will return to the Nicola Valley near Merritt, unfolding this year from July 7th through 9th. Bass Coast's move towards techno and house continues this year, with a healthy roster that includes Roman Flügel, Paul Woolford, Call Super, Breach all on board, along with Canadian Project Pablo. The drum & bass contingent will be represented by a Critical Music showcase with Sam Binga, Enei and Kasra, while Joe Nice, Loefah, Moresounds and a Woolford set as Special Request round out the bass-heavy end of the lineup. Bass Coast staples Justin Martin and J.Phlip, plus festival founder Librarian, are also set to play. For more on the well-loved festival, check out our feature from 2015.
