- The Los Angeles artist's fourth LP is out in May.
Nite Jewel's next album lands on May 5th.
Real High, which is Ramona Gonzalez's fourth full-length, will come via her Gloriette Records label. The album is inspired by the ups and downs—particularly the euphoric highs—of love, nodding to the "hopefully naive" spirit of Janet Jackson's classic 1993 record, janet.
"Gonzalez updates this feminine inner dialogue to reflect the increasing challenges of hyper-modern society," the label says, "in particular with respect to selfhood."
It was made over four years in LA and features collaborations with Julia Holter, Droop-E and Dâm-Funk, who she recently released an EP with as Nite-Funk.
