  • The first edition of Safe As Milk festival will not be going ahead. The organisers of the three-day event, which was due to take place in the Welsh resort of Prestatyn Pontins next month, made the decision to cease trading after failing to sell enough tickets. "We are very sorry to announce that we have had to take the decision to cancel Safe As Milk Festival," a statement reads on the festival's website. "Despite the widespread excitement about the event, we're sorry to report that ticket sales have not reached a level to make the event viable so, despite our best efforts, we have no other option but to cancel." Jeff Mills & Tony Allen, Actress, Dopplereffekt and Carla dal Forno were among the electronic acts due to perform at the festival. Safe As Milk was scheduled to take place from April 21st to the 23rd. There are instructions for how to claim a refund on the website.
