  • Radioactive Man has a new album on the way. Luxury Sky Garden will be the fifth solo LP from Radioactive Man, real name Keith Tenniswood, and the first since 2012's Waits And Measures. The UK electro producer and studio engineer—who's also known for his Two Lone Swordsmen project with Andrew Weatherall—based it loosely on material from the live set he's been playing in recent years, and named it after an advertisement he saw for penthouse apartments in London, a city dealing with a severe lack of affordable housing. It's the inaugural release from his new label, Asking For Trouble, and it'll arrive on double-vinyl in early May. A digital version, with three extra tracks, will follow a few weeks later. Tenniswood thought up the artwork idea with a friend (and his usual illustrator), Subway Lung, who painted a canvas made from an eight-by-eight grid of record sleeves. A photo of the entire design serves as the standard issue's cover, while those individual sleeves will be available on a limited edition of 64 vinyl copies, to be found on the new Radioactive Man Bandcamp page. Tenniswood will be spinning tracks from the album when he DJs at fabric next Saturday the 15th. Listen to previews.
