Jane Fitz, Omar-S and Derrick Carter are also booked for The Point, the festival's new open-air dance club.
The Point is billed as an open air dance club celebrating NYC's role in dance music culture. Established after the popularity of 2016's Despacio installation, The Point will run from open-to-close on all three days on Panorama, which takes place between July 28th and 30th at Randall's Island Park, with previously announced headliners including Nine Inch Nails and Nicolas Jaar.
The stage, which will be outfitted with Funktion-One sound, starts off with a Detroit heavy lineup on Friday July 28th. Marcellus Pittman, who was already billed to play, will be joined by Theo Parrish, Omar-S and Jay Daniel, with well-loved UK DJ Jane Fitz rounding out the lineup.
For Saturday, Panorama has added a headlining set from Motor City Drum Ensemble to a bill heavy on local acts including Anthony Naples (who will play back-to-back with Huerco S.) and Mister Saturday Night. Rising Japanese producer and DJ Powder is the other new addition for day two. Sunday is heavy on classic house, with Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, Honey Dijon and Miles Maeda joining Beats In Space honcho Tim Sweeney. NYC collective Working Women will warm up The Point stage all weekend.
