  • Melbourne comes to Brisbane with Tech Noire image
  • September will see a rather large exodus of Melbourne Clan Analogue members, and their musical gear, head north to Brisbane to play Tech Noire. Making the journey north will be Sobriquet, Bubble N Squeak and Old Des Peres. Sobriquet is one of Melbourne's premier female electronic music producers. She will be bringing her blend of live original grinding industrial and beautiful electronica back to Brisbane. Having graced Tetchnoteque in January 2003 in Brisbane, Bubble N Squeak revisit with a 100% live techno performance. Bubble N Squeak have played at Earthcore and Melbourne's longest running techno club Filter. To complete the Melbourne Clan Analogue trifecta, and visiting Brisbane for the first time are Old Des Peres. As Melbourne's answer to Brisbane's own Team Plastique, Old Des Peres are an electro/techno cabaret trio. Think thumping techno with kooky vocals, silly antics and colourful costumes! Local DJs Anthony Miller, Klika and Valli Lee are playing support at Tech Noire, with booty shaking beats. The party takes place on Friday 5 September, at The Elephant and Wheelbarrow in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Entry for this feast of live music and good tunes in only $5 before 10pm, or $8/$6 concessions and 4ZzZ subscribers.
