  • Cristi Cons will release a new double EP called Perceptual on Meander. Perceptual will be the Romanian producer's biggest solo effort to date. It sees Cons deliver four side-long minimal cuts, three of which are over ten minutes long. The Bucharest native has been releasing a steady stream of solo records since debuting on Amphia, the label he runs with fellow Romanian Vlad Caia, in 2011, but all have been single 12-inches. He did, however, deliver a three-part album alongside Caia as SIT, a collaborative project the pair debuted in 2010. Based in Bucharest, Cons is one of the key names in Romanian dance music, known for a psychedelic minimal sound informed by years studying the cello at National Music Academy in his home town. Perceptual, which is as trippy as ever, arrives on April 14th. Stream "Aural."
