  • A rare Acid Jesus EP from 1997, Interstate, will be reissued next month. Acid Jesus is one of a handful of aliases Roman Flügel and Jörn Elling Wuttke used to put out records together starting in the early '90s. You might better know the German pairing as Alter Ego. Interstate was originally released on Klang Elektronik, and like some of the duo's other works, it's long been hard to find in the secondhand market. Now that it's 20 years old, Flügel and Wuttke are reissuing Interstate on Alter Ego Recordings, the label giving new life to material from their extensive back catalog. Initially a digital-only imprint, it began putting out wax last year, and Interstate will be a vinyl-only release. Listen to the EP's title track.
