  • Sydney nightclub Zoo Project has closed its doors. The venue made the announcement via Facebook today, indicating that the Kings Cross club is now shut and all upcoming gigs have been postponed. The post cited "many reasons" for the closure, lamenting that "what once was safe place that many of us called home, is no more." The statement does, however, indicate that the team is searching for a new site for the club and that they are "confident in finding a new venue very soon." Over its 18-month run, Zoo Project played host to artists like Carl Craig, Mr. Ties, DJ Pete, Dax J and Blanck Mass, and held events run by local promoters like IF? Records, The House of Mince and Darkroom. Read the full Facebook statement.
