A new Deniz Kurtel EP features a remix from the late Marcus Kaye.
The remix was completed shortly before Kaye's passing last month. Taking on the title track from Kurtel's upcoming EP, The Fifth House, it arrives under Kaye's Trevino name, an outlet for house and techno he debuted in 2011. Crosstown Rebels, the label releasing the EP, will donate proceeds to a charity chosen by Kaye's family and partner. It lands digitally and on vinyl on July 21st, and you can stream samples at deejay.de.
"I am honored to have met Trevino through his remix of "The Fifth House" and deeply saddened by his recent passing," Kurtel says. "Massive respect for this beautiful talent."
