  • Dreadbox will release the Medusa analogue synthesiser in December. Retailing for €429, the monophonic offering brings three of Dreadbox's renowned analogue oscillators to a compact desktop format. The third oscillator can morph between seven different waveforms and modulate the other oscillators while a 64-step sequencer can record changes in filter cutoff, mod wheel and velocity parameters for added musicality. A new 12db per octave filter has been designed for the synth, and eight patch points are on hand for connecting to Eurorack format modular gear. The arpeggiator has six running modes and multiple units can be chained together to achieve polyphony. Read our review of Dreadbox's modular system. The Dreabox Medusa will be available in December, 2017 for €429.
