  • Larry Heard will release an album early next year. The as-yet-untitled full-length will be his first since 2005's Loose Fingers (Soundtrack From The Duality Double-Play). The double album will be preceded by a 12-inch—titled Virtual Emotion / Supernova—from the Chicago artist, featuring vocalist Chad White, AKA Mr. White, to be released in September on Alleviated Records. (Heard and White's You Rock Me / The Sun Can't Compare, released 11 years ago, is their most notable collaboration.) Tracks from the LP are expected to feature in a live set at Sunfall Festival, in London's Brockwell Park, on Saturday, August 12th. It will be the first such set he's played in London in 20 years. Heard will play again that evening at Electric Brixton alongside Amp Fiddler, Palms Trax, HAAi and Dimensions Soundsystem. Buy tickets for Sunfall Festival 2017 on RA. Alleviated Records will release Virtual Emotion / Supernova September 4th, 2017.
