  • Melbourne gets a taste of breaks Sydney-style when the Fuzzy Breaks crew hit town. Q45 and Jonathon Wall will be the special guests on Friday September 19 at Lounge. Fuzzy are the undisputed heavyweights of Australian breakbeat, putting on the 16,000 strong Field Day party and also equally phenomenal events such as Harbourlife, Parklife and Winter Break. Q45's Fuzzy Breaks CD hit the shelves earlier this year, with Q dropping everything from Eric B & Rakim to Stanton Warriors in his own killer style. Q45 has a residency at Sublime each Friday where he smashes the Beat-Fix room with a mix of unreleased bombs, bootlegs and tough but funky breakbeat. Jonathon Wall has been DJing since the early 90's and is the driving force behind the Fuzzy group, who have put on parties with the likes of Krafty Kuts, Soul Of Man, Plump DJs, LTJ Bukem, Grooverider, Cut La Roc, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Felix Da Housecat and lmore. In Sydney the Fuzzy name is synonamous with quality and both Jon and Q45 are coming down to give you a taste of what it's all about. Out of Order residents Ben Shepherd and Nick Thayer will also be on decks for your entertainment. Entry is $10 on the door, and the Lounge is at 243 Swanston St Melbourne.
