- ISS002 arrives next week.
Skee Mask is back on Ilian Tape with a new record for the Ilian Skee Series.
Due out next week, it'll be the second release on a series that launched in March with the anonymous producer's 2012 EP. This time the title, ISS002, matches the catalogue number, though when posting about the record, the Zenker Brothers' label mentions the phrase "Social Media Frustration Treatment." Like 2012, it boasts four tracks of retro-leaning breakbeat and techno.
The Skee Series news follows the recent announcement of a record on Ilian Tape from Dona, AKA DJ Plant Texture, called The Bongoman Archive. That one—the Italian artist's Ilian Tape debut—is expected in late September.
