  • Kurupt FM, from the BBC Three series People Just Do Nothing, have signed a record deal with XL Recordings. The crew, which includes MC Grindah and DJ Beats, shared a video on Twitter signing a contract, passing out £5 notes and promising something called The Lost Tape later this year. Kurupt FM are the stars of People Just Do Nothing, a faux reality show where they play an aspiring pirate radio crew in the West London suburb of Brentford. One episode includes an attempt to get into the XL offices to make a deal. The crew have started to make appearances in the real world, performing in North America and playing Glastonbury earlier this year.
