  • Metro Area are re-releasing their self-titled album in a new remastered package. The 15th anniversary edition, which will come in both digital and three-LP vinyl formats, will feature all 12 tracks that were originally spread across the US and European versions in 2002. The music has been "meticulously remastered" according to the band themselves, and the album also comes with a different, newly-designed cover. Metro Area—AKA Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani—found success in the late '90s and early 2000s with their stripped-down take on disco, inspired by extended dub versions of the original disco singles in the '70s and '80s. Listen to "Miura," one of Metro Area's classic tracks.
