  • Day For Night festival will return to Houston from December 15th through 17th. In 2016 the festival boasted a headlining set from Aphex Twin. This year they've got James Blake, Jamie xx, Nina Kraviz, Thom Yorke and Nine Inch Nails among the heavy-hitters, plus Wolfgang Voigt's GAS project, Jlin, Rabit, Demdike Stare, Mount Kimbie, Andy Stott, Jessy Lanza, Babyfather and Forest Swords. There's also a heavy emphasis on installations, including work by Ryoji Ikeda and plenty of other visual artists. Friday will feature a day of talks with the likes of Chelsea Manning, Nadya Tolokonnikova from Pussy Riot and Laurie Anderson. Day For Night takes place at an old post office called Post HTX.
