  • A new album from Sven Weisemann's Desolate alias, Lunar Glyphs, comes out later this week on Fauxpas Musik. Lunar Glyphs will be the third full-length Weisemann releases as Desolate, after 2012's Celestial Light Beings and 2011's The Invisible Insurrection. The German producer has been working on it for five years, and the result is a collection of 12 tunes on the standard double-vinyl release, along with a limited-edition set on colored wax that includes a two-track 7-inch, and a digital version featuring a bonus cut. Weisemann, who's known for a deep, dubby take on house and techno, has used Desolate as an outlet for material that incorporates elements of garage and ambient.
