In a very exciting move for the Sydney live music scene, the lush waterfront venue Cargobar will be rocking all summer long with live bands, DJ’s and musicians. To kick things off in style, Cargo are launching with Springfest a “live fusion Nu Jazz and house” on the October Long weekend. Headlining acts The Pound Boys are jetting in from the US, the UK’s Nu Jazz rhythm man Snowboy will be laying down his latin grooves and Melbourne 6 piece live outfit the Bamboos will venture north to play in an environment made for live music.
Local act Grover and a host of Sydney DJ’s including John Glover, Somatic, Phil Simmonds, Graham Mandroulos and more will add to the flavour of the long weekend festivities. The event kicks off at Midday on Sunday October 5 and will carry on until 5:00am Monday morning.
Cargo is one of Sydney’s premier venues, and with local and international acts on the bill over the Spring and Summer, it will be one of the best places in Sydney to enjoy the summer sun, quality music and good times.
