  • Bendik Kaltenborn has announced his latest book. The Norwegian illustrator, most famous for his work for Todd Terje and the New Yorker, will release Tegning, Form Og Farge, a 368-page hardback that collates a selection of drawings from the last ten years. Kaltenborn, who has also contributed to the New York Times, the Washington Post and Google, is known for a colourful, surrealist style that has helped define the visual aesthetic for Terje's catalogue since 2012's It's The Arps. "In addition to just present my work I wanted to give a glimpse into my working process as well," Kaltenborn told Resident Advisor, "and since I work very chaotic and gut feeling-based it's been like solving a messy mystery. I've done a lot of writing for the book and it has a running commentary track where I'm raving on about how I work and offering small anectodes about some of the pieces. Like the fact that the cover for Todd Terje and Lindstrøm's Lanzarote was meant as a joke, but they both wanted to use it." Read our 2014 Under The Covers interview with Kaltenborn.
