  • Fever Ray will release a new album, Plunge, on October 27th. Karin Dreijer's second solo LP, following 2009's Fever Ray, features production credits from a number of dance music artists. They include Paula Temple, Peder Mannerfelt (who, as part of the duo The Subliminal Kid, coproduced Fever Ray's debut LP), Deena Abdelwahed—the subject of a recent Breaking Through feature—and Principe affiliate Nídia. Six of the LP's 11 tracks were coproduced by Johannes Berglund, who also mixed the album. The Swedish-born, Berlin-based artist Tami T cowrote and coproduced one track, "A Part Of Us." In a statement—titled "The decision to fall is harder than the fall itself"—that accompanies the announcement, Dreijer alludes to several themes—sex, love, sensation, perception—while suggesting ways in which songs mirror and mediate them. The album, out digitally tomorrow, will be available on vinyl and CD on February 23rd, 2018. Watch the video for "To The Moon And Back," a track that Dreijer first teased last week.
