The team behind Milan venue Macao has created a regeneration plan for its Viale Molise 68 building in a bid to be recognised by the city as a cultural institution.
The guide, drawn up in tandem with local architects and students from Milan Politecnico and Bocconi University, includes how to make the project economically and architecturally sustainable. It'll be presented later tonight to a group of local citizens, members of the authorities and representatives from some of the city's other cultural spaces.

Since 2012, the former slaughterhouse has been a hotbed for cutting-edge electronic music, though its future was under threat last year when the current owners, Sogemi, considered putting it up for sale.
