Flying Lotus has scored a new sci-fi movie, Perfect, set to premiere at Austin festival SXSW next month.
Perfect tells the story of "a boy in a cold and stark modern house" who's "seduced by advertisements of perfection to install implantable characteristics directly into his body," according to the listing at SXSW's website. Coming from Flying Lotus, real name Steven Ellison, and director Eddie Alcazar's production company Brainfeeder Films, the movie boasts award-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh as an executive producer. Its cast includes Garrett Wareing, Courtney Eaton and Tao Okamoto.
