  • Brian Eno has scored a film about the German designer Dieter Rams. Going by the film's trailers, the music will likely be ambient. Eno, whose last studio album was 2017's Reflection, has scored dozens of documentaries and feature films, most recently 2015's Me And Earl And The Dying Girl. The Gary Hustwit-directed film, called Rams, is a documentary on the 85 year-old industrial designer, most famous for his work with Braun and Vitsœ, and whose designs would later influence Apple. (His design philosophy is summed up in these ten principles.) There are three short trailers, all featuring Eno's music, that you can watch below. The film is without a release date, but is expected to emerge this year.
