  • If a discography could tell a story, then Swedish-born Hakan Lidbo's could go on forever. Hakan has been producing music longer than most in his native land (since the late 80s) and has infuenced and pushed forward electronic music as we see it today. With over 120 records to his name and a vast array of different styles to boot, Hakan has worked hard over the years including remixes for Ashley Beedle, Si Begg, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Tube Jerk, Ennio Morricone, John Selway and Fatboy Slim. Hakan will be visiting Australia for the first time this month as he is set to play at C-moog in Byron Bay on October 30, assited by Phil Smart, Overdub (live), Jackie Onassid, Wallopalooza, Si Clone and Shariff Galal. The night is presented by Poker Flat Recordings and Tribe187.com. Melbourne fans can catch Hakan in the intimate surrounds of Honkytonks on Friday October 31, supported by Mr Geoffrey (from 6pm), DJ Mahi and Boogs. Entry is $20 on the door.
