  • The programme for AVA Festival 2018 is complete. As well as the main Friday and Saturday events at S13 Warehouse Belfast, there will be an opening party on Thursday, featuring live sets from R. Kitt and Age Of Aquarius, and a closing party on Sunday, headlined by Antal. A live screening of Sebastian Schipper's 2015 thriller Victoria, which features music by Nils Frahm, is also scheduled for Thursday at Queens Film Theatre. The conference programme has been finalised, too, with Larry Heard, KiNK, Bicep, representatives from Native Instruments and more confirmed. To accompany the music, four visual artists—Paul Doran, Mark Ervine, Japan's Yoko Seyama and the creative studio Guerrilla Shout—will showcase their work across the festival's main two days. AVA Festival will run across June 1st and 2nd, with the opening and closing events going down on May 31st and June 3rd respectively. Listen to last year's Exchange with AVA founder Sarah McBriar.
