- The Jamaican dancehall artist's second LP comes out this summer.
Mixpak has announced the second Popcaan album.
Forever is a follow-up to his 2014 full-length, Where We Come From, which saw him emerge from the shadow of his long-time mentor, Vybz Kartel. Since then, he's featured on recordings by Drake, The Gorillaz and been sampled by Kanye West.
The first track from the new album, "Body So Good," brings together "several concurrent musical threads," the label says, "finding the sweet spot where pop meets its Afro counterpart and dancehall future meets dancehall past." There's no release date or tracklist yet, though the album's set to drop at some point this summmer.
