  • Plant43 has a new album coming out on Shipwrec in mid-June. From Deep Streams will be the first fully ambient full-length from Plant43, real name Emile Facey, a UK producer who's been pushing deep, atmospheric electro for more than a decade. He recorded it over the course of three months, assembling a sequence of eight tracks that Shipwrec describes as a "calming journey into stillness." The double-vinyl edition will be out first, on June 18th, with digital formats to follow a week later. Facey is also known as one of the minds behind the London party and label Bleep43. He'll celebrate From Deep Streams' pending release with an ambient live set at next Saturday's Bleep43 night at Crypt On The Green, headlined by French synth artist Jonathan Fitoussi. We last heard Facey in LP mode back in 2014 with Scars Of Intransigence, another Shipwrec release. He has also appeared on labels such as Semantica, Central Processing Unit and Bleep43, along with, just a couple months ago, a new German imprint named Eudemonia. Listen to samples of the album's A and B-sides.
