Gorillaz announce new album, The Now Now

- Gorillaz are releasing a new album, The Now Now, next month on Parlophone Records. This will be the virtual band's fourth studio album, following up last year's Humanz. Simian Mobile Disco's James Ford and Remi Kabaka produced The Now Now alongside the band. The only featured artists on this record are George Benson, Snoop Dogg and Jamie Principle. It will be available on vinyl, CD and digital, as well as a deluxe box set, at the end of June. This summer, the band will be touring through the UK and Europe, with a stop in Moscow in August. They'll hit the US in October, ending the world tour with with Demon Dayz Festival on October 20th in Los Angeles. Gorillaz' animated members, 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs, are given life by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, and are recognized by The Guinness Book Of World Records as the "most successful virtual act" in the world.
