Known for projects like Juzer, Dar Embarks and Chandeliers, he was an influential figure in the Chicago scene.
Jugle, a pillar of the Chicago underground, was known for a few different live electronic acts, including Juzer with Beau Wanzer and Dar Embarks with Kenneth Zawacki.
Spanning ambient music, art rock and techno, Jugle's name has appeared on labels like The Corner, Dog In The Night and Stilove4music. Most recently, Dar Embarks contributed to the Acid Camp All Stars Vol. 2 compilation. Friends and collaborators took to social media over the last few days to mourn his passing.
Listen to Juzer's 2014 album, Horseplay.

Dan Jugle, I'm in disbelief. A guy who'd come up to me multiple times while playing records at Maria's to tell me an anecdote about a record I was playing or to nerd out; always supportive and kind and down to ramble. RIP Dan <3— sold (@glorbis) June 17, 2018
