  • Underworld and Iggy Pop have collaborated on a new EP called Teatime Dub Sessions. The three-headed partnership was born in 2016, when Underworld's Rick Smith, at work overseeing the soundtrack for last year's film T2 Trainspotting, invited Iggy Pop to a room in London's Savoy Hotel, in hopes of working together on music for the movie. (The two acts had been connected in a way by their contributions to the original Trainspotting film's soundtrack, back in 1996; this time around, Iggy Pop's "Lust For Life" was remixed by The Prodigy.) Iggy Pop arrived to find that Smith had essentially turned the room into a studio—a gambit that paid off with a few recording sessions. Ultimately, the collaborative music didn't make it onto the soundtrack. Instead, four tracks were brought together for this EP, which will see release on CD and limited-edition vinyl in late July via Caroline International. Watch videos for two tracks from the EP, "Bells & Circles" and "I'll See Big."
