felicita is releasing an album called hej!
The Polish-Anglo artist's debut LP is set for release on August 3rd, The Fader reports. felicita says the album was written in Shanghai and LA between 2016 and 2017 and "formed" in Kraków. The producer explains that the title, hej!, means "hey!"—"You can say it when greeting a friend, or when saying goodbye."
The ten-track record is preceded by "marzipan," a take on the Polish traditional song "Był Sobie Król" and features Caroline Polachek, formerly of Chairlift, on vocals.
felicita's most recent release was ecce homo, which is available as a free download on SoundCloud.
