Supporters of local house music should flock to Family at Seven this Saturday 15 November. The Melbourne-based duo of Hess and Nick Dem Q, known together as Bamboo, make amazing tribal and tech house tunes and rate as one of Australia's best kept secrets. It's time to change that now with Bamboo X, their debut mix CD, and the release of a double album of original music on vinyl through EQ/Stomp.
They will be supported by the Family Music Machine at Seven on Saturday. You're encouraged to catch Bamboo when you can as the duo do not play that frequently around Melbourne, and indeed earlier this year they played a set at Zouk.
