  • Elevator Sound has announced a music gear conference called Machina Bristronica. The Bristol synth shop's founder, Marco Bernardi, sees the expo in a "similar vein to Berlin's Superbooth and the early Amsterdam Dance Event series held in the Netherlands, with a strong focus on the Bristol music scene." It takes place on March 30th, 2019 at Motion and The Marble Factory and features production lectures, panel discussions, DIY modular and Max4Live workshops and live sets. Attendees will also have the chance to test out gear from a plethora of manufacturers, including modular brands like ALM Busy Circuits, AJH Synths, Bastl, Expert Sleepers and Future Sound Systems, synth giants Novation, Roland, Korg and Moog, and software companies such as Ableton, Native Instruments and Arturia. Tickets can be purchased from the Machina Bristronica website. Further programming information will be disclosed in January net year. Elevator Sound recently merged with Welsh modular store Cymru Beats. Watch a promo video for the event.
