Earthcore in the Park is a new event to Melbourne, to be held on the Labour Day holiday of Monday 8 March. In the tradition of Earthcore events, this one is an outdoor party, amongst the greenery at Sydney Myer Music Bowl. Earthcore have announced a new start time for the event with gates now opening at 7am so that you can now drop into the site for breakfast! The music will start from 7am and go through until 11pm.
A third stage has also been announced behind the sound shell. The Speakeasy Soundsystem will be the place to hear pure ambient wobble, dub and groove through to deep minimal beats. Breakfast, coffees and cocktails are the go here, as well as comfy seating in a SHADED environment. The lineup for the Speakeasy Soundsystem is shown below. They join the already announced lineup which includes Infected Mushroom, GMS, Alias, Dr B, Steve Straton, Disko Pussy & dancers, Boogs, Brad Daniels and Laroz (Live), Salmonella Dub (NZ), the Bird (Syd), Two Dogs (Resin Dogs Bris), Deep Child (Syd), Bad Boys Batucada and djs Ransom, Brewster B, and Agent 86.
The first round tickets have now sold out! You will now pay $55 (+bf and charges) for a ticket. They are available from the Earthcore website, Ministry of Style, Central Station, Eye Spy, Gaslight, Inacoma, CC Music, Alley Tunes, Mighty Music Machine, and Tickmaster 7 (ph: 13 61 00).
